Background


Established in 1998, TravelMole.com is the first online community for the travel and tourism industry. TravelMole.com and TravelMole.TV publishes 15 e-Newsletters and broadcasts hundreds of videos to over 450,000 travel & tourism industry professional registered members and subscribers.

A long-time trade media partner of the British Travel Awards; TravelMole asked the UK Travel Awards event management team to assist them in staging the TravelMole Web Awards. They in turn engaged us to design and produce the presentation graphics and other printed items for the event.

The client had already produced the Web Awards logo, but there was no design brief for theming the event. Our first task was to consider their brand identity. Whilst TravelMole publishes serious breaking news to the travel industry, their image projects a social rather than corporate identity.

Our illustrators developed a background layout that would harmonise with the web awards logo, be strong enough to reinforce the brand but not so overwhelming it would detract from the principal message.

The British Travel Awards sponsored a white label photo-booth as a novelty feature at the event. To clad the unit we adapted the themed presentation graphic and provided the supplier with finished artwork to produce the graphic panels.
